Millard & Flo was founded in 2011 by Interior Designer, Flo Millard and Lighting Designer, Chris Millard.

The studio is based in Rock, on the north coast of Cornwall and the team collaborates on a range of projects, from bespoke gut-renovations to select new-build residences across Cornwall in areas such as Rock, Polzeath, Padstow, Mawgan Porth and into South Cornwall as well as select projects across the UK and Internationally.

The multi-disciplinary studio creates flexible design solutions; ranging from technical interior architecture & space planning, full-service interior design, FF&E specification & procurement, to exclusive specialist architectural lighting design. The design service is uniquely tailored to each client project.

Millard & Flo is a lighting and interior design studio based in Rock, North Cornwall.

Husband & wife team, Chris & Flo Millard, founded Millard & Flo in 2011, having relocated to Cornwall from London where they worked for a prominent architectural lighting design company (Chris) and a high-profile industrial and architectural design practice (Flo).

The studio provides flexible, bespoke interior and lighting design for a range of exclusive new-build and gut-renovation projects, both collaboratively and singularly. A comprehensive, holistic & adaptable design service which may encompass all aspects of interior architecture & design and specialist architectural lighting design, varying from project-to-project.

Despite the demands of an exacting clientele, Chris and Flo maintain a refreshingly collaborative, personal and relaxed approach to design. Their service draws on a wealth of knowledge, skill and a bulging contact book from their connections both locally and internationally, whilst also offering their out-of-county clients the benefit of a designer who is local to site for key areas such as Rock, Polzeath, Padstow and Mawgan Porth, with an extensive knowledge of the best of Cornwall’s craftspeople, suppliers, artists & contacts.

Co-Founder & Lighting Designer, Chris Millard is the Director of Lighting Design at the Millard & Flo Studio in Rock, North Cornwall. With over 15 years experience, Chris supports a close network of local architects, contractors, interior designers and clients with specialist architectural lighting design & specification and a wealth of technical knowledge.

INTERIORS

Co-Founder, Flo Millard, is Director of Interior Design at the studio in Rock, North Cornwall. The interior design team provides tailored, comprehensive interior architecture & design to a range of exclusive projects, from select new-builds to full gut-renovation projects - bringing with it a distinctive design aesthetic for which the studio has become known, as well as Flo’s enviable little black book of contacts and wealth of experience.
